Jeevan Karki is one of the founders at Mantra Education and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. He is an educationist, development worker, trainer/facilitator, translator, researcher and writer. 

From being an English teacher at GEMS (Lalitpur) to working in different portfolios in development organizations including a project of British Council, Jeevan brings 15 years of experience in the education sector, which includes program design and development, management and coordination, training facilitation, on-site coaching and mentoring. He also worked as a senior teacher trainer in a project of Australian Himalayan Foundation (AHF) in partnership with REED Nepal, where he innovated several contextualised teachers’ training models. He works as a core team member in the Literacy Program at Room to Read, contributing in program design, development, coordination and capacity development. Jeevan is also an independent researcher having published his research papers in the international journals (one here) and presented in national/ international conferences. Moreover, he also writes op-ed in national papers/magazines on the issues of education and learning. Jeevan holds a Master's in English Education from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Making short arts films and music are his hobbies. He is the life member of NELTA and Society of translators’ Nepal.
